Stefan Gottberg, SwedenI bought first a bandana to see what the product looked like and how it worked. I was surprised! I sweat a lot, but no sweat in my eyes, good ventilation for the whole skull. I cycled about 50 km in tough gravel roads, and the bandana kept the sweat away! After this test, I also bought the Sport Hat, Sport Visor, Headbands, Skull Cap and Anti-Freeze Beanie. Very good product!
Does what is says on the can (Part 2)
GerryMany thanks for my gorgeous new red Halo headband. I nearly misplaced my black one last week, but discovered it just in time for yesterday's run - a 20 mile Lakeland jog hitting Helvellyn's peak from two different directions, on England's hottest day of the year so far - sweat in the eyes - not a bit of trouble, now I have my Halo around my head. I am now telling my friends about “The next big breakthrough in outdoor fitness technology – which does what it says on the can – ie keeps sweat out of your eyes!”
Does what it says on the can (part 1)
GerryRecently I bought, rather sceptically, I might add, a halo headband from a sales woman prior to the Manchester marathon. I had been troubled by sharp, stinging sweat in my eyes, and I could do with a solution - but I was wary of buying an overpriced gizmo that made very little difference. The market place is full of bright ideas that don't actually work well in practice. Well the halo headband has done the job for me. Dripping sweat stinging my eyes is no longer an issue and I can't praise the Halo enough. (One day recently I went running without it - and the sweat problems returned big time.) I'm never without it now. Thank you Halo - job done!
Problem Solved!
Tony Wallbank, PhotographerJust thought I’d email with some feedback. I was the photographer camped next to you at Run24 this weekend and had a visor and bandana from you. I have not long come back from a muggy and very wet long run today and wore the visor. Wow! I couldn’t believe how much better it was compared to other things I have tried. I suffer from sweat running into my eyes or onto the inside of my sunglass lenses, and then stinging, especially in sunny weather. I have used Buffs, running hats and Vaseline to try and soak/divert the moisture in the past, but with little real success, including greasy dead flies stuck to my face! No troubles like this today and I could feel where the Halo Visor was working. This will now be on my head for every training run and race…finally – problem solved. Update Ran in the LLLR 2012, both days were very hot with very hilly, rutted and stone covered trails and no shade! I wore the bandana on Saturday and the visor on Sunday with no sweat going near my eyes over the two days. In conditions like this it's a real testament to the product and gear to have sting free eyes all weekend. I noticed the effect even when pouring water over my head to cool down... nothing in the eyes - fantastic!
Jamie Lynch, South East Mountain BikingHalo headband is a fantastic product, by far one of the best pieces of equipment that I have ever bought, I use It when I'm out MTB guiding it allows me to see so I can do my job. It really keeps the sweat out of my eyes when out on the bike it’s just so comfortable and it fits perfectly underneath my helmet. I really have been impressed, I ride every day for work and pleasure, hot and cold they just work " "Don't sweat it, go Halo!" South East Mountain Biking love to ride Mountain Bikes and love to show people new trails, new sights and see them enjoying the fantastic countryside that the South East has to offer. Richard, JerseyI have now tried the Halo headbands out whilst cycling on the rollers and on the road. When I took them out of the packet they seemed fairly thin for the job, but they work very well indeed. I was most impressed while cycling on the rollers; I used to fill a terrycloth headband after about 20 minutes and anyone using indoor trainers will know that the sweat can pour off you. No such problems here, for such a thin band it does an excellent job. It also fits under a helmet easily as well, and while perspiration was never such a problem while on the road, it made the absorbent glove patches pretty redundant. The anti-freeze ear cover version made cycling more comfortable in that department as well."
